Compete Around the World in
Pokémon Championships

The Pokémon Championship Series is a competitive circuit of tournaments where Trainers battle for Championship Points, incredible prizes, and qualification for the Pokémon World Championships event.

The Championship Series invites Pokémon Trainers and fans of all skill levels to take part in the fun.

Rating Zones

A rating zone is a region where a competitor plays Pokémon Championships events and earns Championship Points. Competitors qualify for Travel Awards to International Championships events based on their performance and Championship Points standing in their home rating zone.

The current rating zones are

North America
Middle East
Europe
South Africa
Latin America
Oceania

World Championships Qualification

Players qualify for Worlds by earning Championship Points at events throughout the Championship Series season. In 2026, a set number of players from each rating zone, age division, and game will earn an invitation to the World Championships based on their Championship Points leaderboard standings. This update applies to Pokémon TCG, Pokémon Video Game, and Pokémon GO players.

The Champion in each age division will earn a direct invitation to the 2026 Pokémon World Championships! Additional prizes, including prize money and Championship Points, are awarded to the top players.

How to register

To register and play, all events require online pre-registration. Regional Championships and some Special Championships registration occur in RK9. Make sure to check the registration platform on the event landing page. You will also need a Pokémon Trainer Club Account for any prizing.
